P. J. Murphy was originally founded in 1895, as a producer of all-wood byproducts.  The company began by selling wood products to local markets and shops from its production facility in Brooklyn, NY.  In 1947 the company was incorporated as P. J. Murphy Forest Products Corporation.  It has since expanded from a regional manufacturer to a company that sells product around the world.  For four generations, it has provided the highest level of commitment to all of its customers.

PJ Murphy Forest Products currently operates five state-of-the-art production facilities, and will be opening a sixth facility in the near future.  Our locations include Bowling Green, KY, Broadalbin, NY, Ladysmith, WI, Monticello, KY, and Mount Jewett, Pa.  Our corporate headquarters are located in Montville, NJ.

Part of our success is due to our high quality standards.  Our company maintains rigid guidelines when deciding which raw material wood sources to use.  Our policy is to only use top-grade wood, and never use an inferior byproduct.

We continue to provide exceptional customer support, and work to build strong relationships with our customers.  Our fleet of tractors, trailers ,and vans give us a reliable delivery system that people have come to count on.  Should any issue arise with our products, we do what it takes to keep our customers satisfied.

PJ Murphy sells into many different industries.  Our animal bedding, wood flour, meat smoking, metal tumbling, and fur dressing products have been industry staples for over 50 years.
