ASPEN
SANI-CHIP® |
Our traditional Sani-Chip®, made entirely from the Aspen species. This product is screened to a uniform size and is dried to 8% (+/-2%) moisture content. The Aspen Sani-Chip® is brighter in color than our original Sani-Chip®. It is free of all splinters, shavings, slivers, excess dust and foreign matter.

IRRADIATED ASPEN
SANI-CHIP® |
We start with premium quality Aspen Sani-Chips®, which are manufactured to meet the product specifications of both NIH and NTP. Then we certify the Sani-Chips® and put the place and date of manufacture on each bag. Samples are then analyzed in a laboratory and transported to an irradiation facility, where they recieve a minimum does of 15kGy. Irradiated samples are then analyzed in a laboratory to confirm the cleanliness of the product. We then send our customers the paper work, which include initial lab analysis for certification, the lab analysis of the microbiological content after irradiation, and a copy of the irradiator's analysis.

C- GRADE |
A course harwood chip that varies in size between 18 mesh and 30 mesh. Our C-grade gets dried down to 8% (+/-2%) moisture content.

SANI-CHIP® |
A staple of the animal bedding industry, Sani-Chips® are manufactured from selected hardwoods, which include beech, birch, and maple. It is dried down to 8% (+/-2%) moisture content and screened to the specifications set by the National Institute of Health, which is 8 to 20 mesh. Sani-Chips® ability to absorb and give up liquids quickly makes it the bedding of choice for many. Our Sani-Chips® are then packaged in a 2.2 cubic foot auto-clavable bag. Sani-Chips® are virtually dust free, contain no chemical additives of any kind, and are not a food source for your animals. Unlike many other beddings, Sani-Chips® are ready to be used right out of the bag. They do not need to be irradiated, autoclaved, or sanitized in any way before use. When the well-being and comfort of your animals are top priorities, Sani-Chips® are the proven bedding of choice.

COARSE GRADE

The same product as our original Sani-Chips®, only in a coarser chip. Coarse grade Sani-Chips® are often requested for larger animals and can be viewed as a form of enrichment for the animal. They are processed using the same quality standards as regular Sani-Chips® and are ready to be used right out of the 2.2 cubic foot auto-clavable bag. Coarse grade Sani-Chips® are virtually dust free, contain no chemical additives of any kind, and are not a food source for your animals.
